To create a microcosm of form. Seed pods and fruiting forms are a clear expression of richness and abundance. Likewise, botanical structures act as a metaphor for my own personal growth. Incipience and the birthing of possibility inform my work. Following ceramic tradition many of the forms are vessels, the space within is protected, thus encouraging the flourishing of variety; organisms portrayed through the work. My colour palette is inspired by vivid iridescent nature. Effervescent and common place forms pushed to presence on encounter. Growth from seed forms, hyper – real.
